MY LONG TIME QUESTION - What really is the difference between Motorstar's top notch bikes?
I've been wondering about the difference between Motorstar's Xplorer Z200 and Z250 for the past few weeks already, and I haven't found the right answer or the answer that might convince me that this bike is worthy to be my 2nd bike. I'm planning on buying a new bike to commuting and traveling purposes. hehe. The latest model released of both bikes is in 2007. NO FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS TIL NOW?

According to my research:
- Z200 has a 200cc displacement engine while the Z250 has a 250cc engine (DISPLACEMENT)
- Z200 still has a kick start, while the Z250 has no kick start only electric start (therefore, making it prone to "Kadyot" or tulak method.
- Z200 has no adjustable port where the rear mono shock is located, therefore making it hard to adjust / lift, you need to have it welded thight first. While the z250 already has port which has 2 holes making it easier to adjust / lift.
- Heavy Duty chains, the Z200 and z250 uses 2 completely different chains. Z250 (DID 520).
- z200 is heavier than the z250 because different components are used in the z250. and also, the kick which weighs a few Kgs is already REMOVED.
- Color scheme, the z250 looks more sportier than the z200
- Panels and Gauges, the z250 looks cooler than that of the z200
- as shared by Sir RaiderCJL (MCP-Baguio) the z250 has far superior handling than that of the z200.
- the z250 has better ignition system, which makes it start better. but both bikes have the same quality of electricals, so you must install better high tension wires.
- STILL RESEARCHING - WILL UPDATE YOU SOON!
Long Live Motorstar Xplorer z200 and z250!
